ESPN posted Keith Law's top 100 prospects, and it's definitely worth a glance. It looks like the Mark Teixeira at catcher synopsis for Matt Wieters is pretty legit, having heard that in other places and now by Law. Only a few years ago it looked like Brian Sabean was on his way to being fired with virtually no big prospects in the wings, and a team with literally 5 guys 35+ years of age. Now Lincecum has become a top 5 pitcher, and they have 2 top 10 prospects in Law's rankings, pitcher Madison Bumgarner and catcher Buster Posey. Nice job turning that team around that with some luck can win the NL West at no expense to their future. As you've been hearing all along, the Rangers boast by far the best farm system in the league, Law's list does nothing but reinforce that.
I also just want to say that I love when this stuff comes out and that I'm looking forward to more prospect overviews, season previews, fantasy previews, and more to hold us over as we inch closer to Opening Day.
