The Phillies will be heavily favored in the NLCS but the Giants do have their rotation lined up at least. I wouldn't expect Lincecum to throw a 14k shutout, but then I don't think Halladay will throw a no-no either. Once the Rays/Rangers series ends I'll have more in depth previews of the series, but for a sneak peak I have a feeling the Giants will make the NLCS more interesting than people believe.

Division Series Roundup
Giants 3 Braves 2: Another close one which seems to be par for the course with these teams. Bruce Bochy went with Madison Bumgarner instead of Lincecum on short rest and it paid off as Bumgarner threw 6 solid innings en route to the win. Derek Lowe was dominant through 6 but cracked in the 7th giving up 3 runs (2 earned), and that's all the Giants would need. You'd like to see Cox somehow go out on top, but with this team (and with their injuries) just making the playoffs and taking a game in the series has to be viewed as a success.
